ABOUT KATE

Born and raised on Long Island, Kate has been immersed in the arts from a very young age. "My earliest memories of performing are the talent shows I put on for my parents in the living room. I would get all dressed up and sing my little heart out into my toy echo microphone - and I made up all the songs on the spot!"  Kate's passion for performing led her to discover a career in acting. To her core, Kate is a storyteller. Her dream is to collaborate with other storytellers - in theatre, film, television... any artistic medium - to tell meaningful stories that challenge audiences to think about life from a diverse range of perspectives. Kate is also pursuing dialect coaching and is passionate about accent work.

Kate graduated from Ball State University in May 2023 with a B.F.A. in Acting and was selected by industry professionals to perform in the Theatre and Dance department's Chicago and New York senior showcases. In the Spring of 2023, Kate was the Assistant Dialect Coach to Kathy Logelin at Mercury Theater Chicago. She then spent her summer studying at the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, Ireland. 

In December 2023, Kate made her Off-Off-Broadway debut playing Lucetta in the American Theatre of Actors' production of Shakespeare's The Two Gentlemen of VeronaIn April of 2024, Kate appeared in EastLine Theatre's Long Island premiere of Trouble In Mind  by Alice Childress, the first Black woman to have a play professionally produced in the United States.
